What is a pre-order item?

A pre-order item is a product that is not yet available from the manufacturer at the time of purchase.

Unlike in-stock or special-order items, pre-order items do not have a guaranteed or published estimated arrival time.

Pre-ordering allows customers to reserve an item before it becomes available.
